Students with learning disabilities revel in showing me, a middle-aged, technology-challenged teacher, how to do things on the computer. My students are in High School and have often experienced failure in one or more school subjects. Often, these same students are very computer-savvy. It valuable to see me struggle and fail on the computer (and I do it in full-view using my LCD projector) so that they can see that we all fail. It is also valuable for them to realize that they have more mastery as I ask them to guide me in fixing my mistakes.
